Day master
甲 Gap · Yang Wood
Taehyun's day master is 甲 Gap, Yang Wood. In saju the day master is the stem of the day pillar, and the rest of the chart is read from it.
Saju pictures 甲 as a tall tree. Bias Match draws it as The Great Tree.
Chart
Taehyun's three pillars
| Year | Month | Day | Hour | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stem | 壬 Im · Water | 壬 Im · Water | 甲 Gap · Wood | Unknown |
| Branch | 午 O (Horse) · Fire | 寅 In (Tiger) · Wood | 辰 Jin (Dragon) · Earth | Unknown |
Birth hours aren't public, so the hour pillar is left blank and no rising sign is given. The day pillar is worked out for noon, so for a birth close to midnight it could be the previous or next day's.
The three known pillars are year Im-O (壬午), month Im-In (壬寅) and day Gap-Jin (甲辰).
Taehyun's zodiac animal is the Horse, from the year branch 午.
Born on the same day: Jisung (NCT DREAM), so that three-pillar chart is the same as Taehyun's. Only the groups and the comparisons below differ.
Saju years begin at Lichun, around February 4, so the saju animal here is the Horse, while a Lunar New Year calendar gives the Snake.
On Feb 5, 2002 the sun was in Aquarius, an air sign.
The moon stayed in Scorpio all day.
Five elements
Five elements in Taehyun's chart
Counting the six characters of the three known pillars: Wood 2, Fire 1, Earth 1, Metal 0, Water 2.
Wood and Water are tied for most common, and Metal doesn't appear at all.
Weighing the month branch most, the rest of the chart gives this Wood day master more than average support, so in saju terms the balancing element is Metal.
The most frequent ten-god family in the chart is the resource stars, read as learning and support (2 of the 5 characters counted).
Inside the group
Elements in common inside TXT
Inside TXT, the chart most similar to Taehyun's by elements belongs to Soobin: their Wood and Fire day masters sit side by side in the generating cycle, and their air and fire sun signs make a complementary pair.
The most different belongs to Yeonjun: their Wood and Earth day masters form a checking pair, and their air and earth sun signs make a contrasting pair.
This compares day masters, sun-sign elements and element balance only. It says nothing about how anyone gets along in real life.

Guide
How to read this page
- Day master
- The heavenly stem of the day pillar. In saju the whole chart is read from this stem.
- Three pillars
- Year, month and day, each a stem over a branch. The fourth pillar needs the birth hour, which isn't public.
- Five elements
- Wood, fire, earth, metal and water. Each of the six known characters carries one, and the bars add them up.
- Balancing element
- The element saju would add to even out the chart. It describes the chart's symbols, not the person.
- Ten-god families
- Five groups of relationships between the day master and the other characters: companion, output, wealth, officer and resource.
Work out your own chart with the saju calculator.
